All You Who Love Jerusalem

As the years pass by one after another in our life of faith, the moment is coming closer when we will change into beautiful angels by the grace of Father and Mother.

Now, the people of Zion, who are chosen as children of promise and called by God, should have a correct view of Jerusalem our Mother who takes the lead in the gospel work in this age, and should also realize Her sacrifice hidden behind the scenes. When we do so, we will be able to have the proper mindset and faith as God’s heirs who will inherit salvation.

Let’s find out how the last gospel work, which our heavenly Mother is leading, goes on every day, through the prophecies of the Bible, and take time to realize the great sacrifice of our heavenly Mother.

The woman and her offspring

Rev 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.

The above prophecy shows that there will be a fierce war between the dragon and the woman in the last days. Then, who is the woman, the mother of the remnant, who will fight against the dragon? Let’s find out who she is, through the history of Genesis.

Ge 3:15 “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

We can see that the offspring of the woman in Revelation 12 and Genesis 3 are at enmity with the devil, represented by the serpent or dragon. This shows that the two prophecies are talking about the same thing.

The serpent and the woman have been enemies ever since the Garden of Eden. The woman, who is at enmity with the serpent, refers to Eve, Adam’s wife, who appears first in Genesis 3:1. In God’s work of creation in six days, Adam and Eve, who were created on the sixth day of creation, represent the Spirit and the Bride who are to appear in the last days—at the end of the six thousand years of redemption.

Ro 5:12-14 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned . . . Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.

Adam represents the one to come, Jesus who is to come a second time, and his wife Eve stands for the bride, the wife of the Lamb, who is prophesied in the book of Revelation.

Rev 19:6-7 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.”

Since the Bible says that the wedding of the Lamb has come, we can see that as the first man Adam had a wife named Eve, so the Second Coming Jesus has His spiritual wife, His bride.

The spiritual children, who are born through the bride of the Lamb, are the rest of the woman’s offspring who appear in Revelation 12. In other words, the offspring of the woman mentioned in Revelation 12 and Genesis 3 are the children who are born through our Mother, the wife of the Second Coming Jesus, who is represented by Eve.

Mother suffers a lot in a great spiritual war

Then, what is the spiritual situation like in this age when Mother, who is represented by Eve—the woman who is at enmity with the serpent, has appeared?

Rev 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.

Viewed from a prophetic perspective, the current spiritual situation is very fierce; our wicked enemy, the devil, engages us in a great battle, standing on the shore of the sea. We, the rest of the woman’s offspring, should understand this situation correctly and put all our strength and efforts into helping Mother who is fighting alone against Satan. In this urgent situation, if we do not unite with one another even in small matters, it is an act of committing a grievous sin against our heavenly Father and Mother again.

Now, we should understand the pain and suffering of Mother who worries about the safety of Her children’s souls and protects them every day, from early in the morning until late at night, and we should also share the yoke that Mother is carrying and help Her with one mind.

Isa 54:11-13 “O afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will build you with stones of turquoise, your foundations with sapphires . . . All your sons will be taught by the Lord, and great will be your children’s peace.”

In the Bible, Jerusalem figuratively represents our heavenly Mother (Gal 4:26). Therefore, the above verses speak of the suffering Jerusalem our Mother goes through. In the Good News Bible (TEV), the first part of verse 11 is written: “O Jerusalem, you suffering, helpless city, with no one to comfort you.” We can guess how hard and painful Mother’s life is.

Mother takes care of Her children’s safety and suffers for them day and night, fighting against the devil who prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. However, we the foolish children still do not realize the sacrifice of Mother but hurt Mother’s heart by grumbling and complaining rather than comforting Mother. Now, we have to awake from our spiritual slumber and foolishness, consider Mother’s sufferings, understand Her heart and live in a way worthy of the children of Jerusalem who love Her.

Blessings given to the children who love Jerusalem

Isa 66:10-13 “Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her. For you will nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; you will drink deeply and delight in her overflowing abundance. . . . As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”

The prophecy in Isaiah chapter 66 shows that those who love Jerusalem the heavenly Mother will rejoice and be glad with Her. In other words, when we understand the heart of our heavenly Mother in everything, as Her children who love Her, we will be able to abide in the blessings prepared by our heavenly Father forever and ever.

If a man loves a woman, he becomes interested in everything about her and tries to understand her heart and feelings, and also makes efforts to please her. In the same way, if we love Jerusalem our Mother as Her children, we should always pay attention to the will of Mother and consider how much pain and suffering Mother goes through, on the gospel journey filled with thorns. Also, we should always think about what pleases Mother and put it into practice.

When we study the Bible, we learn many lessons from the stories recorded in it. Among them, there is a story about Jacob and Esau. Jacob and Esau were twins born of the same womb. The younger brother Jacob continually took a close look at the situation his mother was in, and was always there to help his mother when she needed him, realizing how hard and toilsome her work was. On the contrary, the elder brother Esau spent each day indulging in the pleasures of hunting, rather than considering the situation of his mother.

It was not because Jacob was feminine or effeminate that he helped his mother with her housework. At the ford of the Jabbok, he desperately clung to God for His blessing in spite of the tortuous pain of a dislocated hip. Considering this, we can see that Jacob was not a feeble or effeminate person. Since he had a sense of caring about everything his mother was doing, he understood her invisible pain and sacrifice and wanted to help her.

Jacob, who understood his mother’s heart and tried to help her in everything, was greatly blessed by God; he was able to return to his home safely and inherit the estate of his father Isaac. What does God want to teach us through the history of Jacob recorded in the Bible? What is God’s will for us? God wants us, who are returning to heaven our spiritual home, to realize what kind of situation our Mother is in and understand the heart of Mother, like Jacob, as the people who love Jerusalem Mother.

Let’s proclaim the favor of Mother, united in love

As the old saying goes, “There is no rest for a mother with many children,” a mother undergoes many hardships and troubles while leading her own family. We need to think of how much more pain and trouble our Mother suffers when leading the great work of the gospel. Mother takes the same flesh as ours, and feels pain and suffers as we do. In spite of so much suffering, Mother takes care of us, Her children, day and night so that we may become worthy to enter the kingdom of heaven. Words cannot express the suffering and sacrifice of our heavenly Mother who is afflicted, lashed by storms. Since our Mother is God Almighty, She can do everything, and Mother is free, so She can do whatever She wants. However, for us, Her children, She endures all things, clothed in human flesh.

Now, we need to reflect upon ourselves—whether or not we have lived like Esau, indulging in our own pleasures, not discerning this present time with a prophetic eye while claiming to know the prophecies of the Bible. Through the teachings of the Bible, let’s find out what kind of mindset and faith we must have in order to please Mother and help Her, and what virtues we should practice as the rest of the woman’s offspring who are like Jacob in this age.

Jn 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Php 2:1-4 Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

Mother, who wants us, Her children, to become united in love, personally sets an example of loving all people and walks the path of humility and sacrifice ahead of us, and tells us to follow the path. We, the children of Jerusalem, who love Her, have to obey the teachings of Mother and be completely reborn as the people of heaven, so that we may relieve Mother of Her burden and please Her every day. By doing so, we should follow Mother until the end.

Isa 62:6-7 I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.

We have been called by God to be the watchmen of Jerusalem in this age. Our mission is to help Mother in Her salvation work, without being silent day or night, until Jerusalem our Mother is praised by all people in the world, understanding the heart of Mother, who anxiously cares about the salvation of our souls, and realizing Her pain and sacrifice.

The gospel has been spreading so rapidly until today. Behind such a remarkable growth there has been Mother’s devotional love and sacrifice; She has protected us from all hindrances from Satan and helped us until Her appearance has been disfigured more than any man. Just as the branches can’t bear fruit unless they receive water and nourishment from the roots, no matter how thick they are, so can’t we bear fruit without the invisible sacrifice of Mother. We must realize that Mother has given us everything that She has, giving birth to us, Her 144,000 children, and raising us, as the desolate Woman, until we’ve been able to bear fruit.

Now, let’s diligently proclaim the favor of Mother, who works hard for our salvation day and night, to all people around the world and faithfully carry out Heaven’s command to “save the whole world,” as the mature children of Mother. Let us be obedient to Mother and bring joy to Her, as Jacob did, so that we will all inherit the eternal kingdom of heaven, as the rest of the woman’s offspring.
