On September 9, the members of the Church of God in Jeonju area held clean up and environmental movement, wishing for the success of the 84th National Sports Festival of October 10. 1,500 members picked up trashes from Pyeonghwa-dong to Jeonju Stream.
Holding the pickets reading, "Do not drop trash on the road," "My mom who spares synthetic detergent is best," and placards reading, "Protecting environment is planting happiness," "Clean Jeonju, Green Jeonju," the members made known this movement's purpose and got the citizens' good response.
