Before graduation, high school senior students look comfortable, being out of pressure from academic heaviness. On December 14, over 2,500 senior student members throughout Korea gathered at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute with bright look and light steps. It was to attend the Pre-Young Adult Meeting 2014. This event was held to present visions and implant firm faith in the hearts of those who are going to plan the great future in the days of their youth; it proceeded in order of the worship service and the vision education.

Mother consoled the pre-young adults, saying, “You’ve done well during the period of time to study most. You will get a good result though the process was tough. I hope you will fulfill what you want in your dreamy ages.” And She let them remember the value of blessings reserved for them through the words, “The dew of youth who are willing on God’s work will be a royal priesthood in the kingdom of heaven” (Ps 110:2–4), and added, “Since God promised those who meditate on God’s words and keep them will prosper, please strengthen your heart and spread your will boldly in the sea of university and workplace, delivering the hope for heaven to those who don’t know the blessing of the kingdom of heaven yet” (Ps 1:1–6; Ne 13:16–18; Jos 1:1–9; 1 Th 2:4; Isa 43:1–3).

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol congratulated them on their entering 20s, the prime of life, and said, “Those who lead many to righteousness are the VIPs in the kingdom of heaven.” And he recommended them to have a great ambition about the future so that they cannot waver by current trends and lose the goal and meaning of their lives.

In addition, he asked for unity, giving an example of wild geese’s flight. Geese fly along in a V formation; each bird flaps its wings to create an uplift for the bird following so that the whole flock can fly more easily. The geese at the back make a sound of cheer to the geese in front. “Please spend the golden days of your life while giving strength to Mother who sacrifices Herself at the very front on the way to heaven, and encouraging others who need some cheers,” he said.

The vision education followed. Professors Lee Hye-gyeong, Kim Ok-hyeon, and Gwon Hyeok-jin made presentations with titles, “The Universe of God Elohim,” “Where Does a Miracle Come from?” and “Setting the Goal at the Age of 20.” Their topics consisted of their majors and the Bible, and they explained what kind of attitude the young adults need to have and how to prepare for the future. Soon-to-be young adults paid much attention to the professors’ sincere advice. They zealously answered to the questions the professors asked, and burst into a gleeful laugh thanks to interesting lectures.

When the event finished, the students looked full of energy. “I got encouraged a lot because the event was full of passion,” said Kim Ga-min with a smile. “I gained confidence. I want to live a worthy life by setting a goal,” said Bae Sahng-ah, showing her determination. “I was frustrated without knowing what I want with my life. Now I’ve learned that having a vision is important. I’ll make a plan one by one and create the promising future,” said Jeong Yil-wung.

Everybody receives a piece of paper when they reach their 20’s. On the paper, they need to draw where to go, which path they’ll choose, and how to go through that path, while taking the long journey of life. They may not know what to do, or feel afraid as only one sheet of paper is given to them. However, it’s all right no matter what they draw. The future of the youth is beautiful enough by the possibility itself. We give our full support to young adults who will boldly move forward to the world and successfully fulfill their dreams.
