Preaching to Seven Billion People & Mother’s Support

Everyone misses their spiritual home—heaven, a place full of happiness, and longs to go there. In order to go to heaven, however, we need to walk the right path in our life on this earth. Just as the Israelites reached Canaan after walking forty years in the wilderness, so we can reach heaven only after walking the path of faith in the spiritual desert—the path that Father walked and Mother is still walking.

We have been cast down to this earth because of our sins. To take us, His children, to the kingdom of heaven, God has put a process called “preaching” in our journey back to heaven. Through that process, God has prepared a path for us to reach the kingdom of heaven by realizing the sacrifice and love of Heavenly Father and Mother and understanding Their heart that regards a soul as more valuable than the whole world. To encourage Her children who are exhausted on the way, Mother is continuously sending them support even at this moment.

The goal and mission of preaching to seven billion people

There are more than seven billion people living in the global village. Some of them live with goals, while others live without goals. They have vastly different goals in life; some have great goals, and others have small goals.

Most people are satisfied with small goals and efforts. However, the wise who lived in earlier times continuously advised people to have big dreams, as the saying goes: “Boys, be ambitious!” This means we must have great goals. It is also necessary to have such great goals in our life of faith as well.

Php 3:12–14 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

The Apostle Paul said, “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward.”

In order to enjoy a happy life in the eternal kingdom of heaven, we must finish the race set before us. So, we shouldn’t waste our time without a plan or goal, but spend 24 hours each day running towards the great goal of “preaching to seven billion people,” with a determination to proclaim the gospel to all people in the world. Preaching is the greatest and holiest work God has entrusted to us (1 Th 2:4).

Preaching the gospel to seven billion people all around the world is not something great in God’s eyes, but it is a great task from a human point of view. Since it is a huge goal for us, it requires a great deal of effort on our part to achieve the goal. When we have the goal of preaching to seven billion people and work hard towards it, our mindset and behaviors change, so that we can do the great work and all spiritual systems can work at the same time. Some may think it’s enough to bear one fruit a month, and others think they should bear a hundred fruit and even a thousand fruits every month. There is a big difference between the two in the range of their thoughts, the scale of work they do, and the amount of efforts they put into it.

God’s help is absolutely necessary for us to achieve the goal of preaching to seven billion people. Let us continue to work as hard as we can to accomplish the goal, praying diligently to God and asking for God’s help. God declares in the Bible that it will surely be fulfilled.

Fulfillment of the goal of preaching to seven billion people depends on our faith

Preaching the gospel throughout the world is not too hard for God, who created the whole universe. It would just take one day or a minute or a second for God to do it Himself. However, He has given us the mission of preaching the gospel to provide opportunities for us to be blessed and to learn from His sacrifice and love.

The goal of preaching to seven billion people will be accomplished quickly if we carry it out, believing we can do it.

Mt 9:27–31 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you”; and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.

Jesus encouraged the blind men by saying, “According to your faith will it be done to you.” Then their sight was immediately restored because they had faith in Jesus.

In the Bible we can see that God’s power has been working through faith throughout all ages. The Israelites’ entrance into Canaan also depended on their faith; some of them were allowed to enter the land, and others were not allowed to enter it, according to whether or not they had faith. Those who said, “They are like giants, and we are like grasshoppers. No way can we defeat them,” were all destroyed in the desert, and only Joshua and Caleb who said, “God is with us. We will swallow them up,” were allowed to enter the land of Canaan.

God always tells us, “According to your faith will it be done to you.” ‘It is not I, but God, who is working through me. Everything is possible with God.’ If we have this belief and preach the gospel, we will bear beautiful fruit wherever we are. ‘The environment here is not favorable. So, it seems difficult to preach here.’ If we prejudge everything like this, God will let it happen according to our prejudicial faith.

Our brothers and sisters in Zion on every continent of the world are eagerly preaching the good news today, too. With Mother’s support, they are all working hard to accomplish the goal of preaching to seven billion people. Let us quickly fulfill this mission with faith and unity. God has already promised that the gospel will be preached to seven billion people.

Mt 24:13–14 “. . . but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

Jesus says that the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations. Then we will go back to our spiritual home that is waiting for us—the everlasting world where we will never fade away or get bored or tired, but we will enjoy eternal life, traveling between the stars—visiting one star today and another star tomorrow.

In order to enter the glorious world, we should go to all nations and preach our spiritual Father and Mother and the truth of the new covenant Father and Mother have taught us. By doing this, we have to find our brothers and sisters scattered all around the world and go back to heaven together with them, according to God’s word. This is the path we must walk. We preach the good news of the kingdom and proclaim Father and Mother to all whom we meet to see if they are our brothers and some of them are our heavenly family members, and others are not. In that process, however, the goal of preaching to seven billion people is being fulfilled. When the gospel is preached to all seven billion people in the global village, it will be an undeniable testimony to all nations, just as Jesus said that the gospel of the kingdom would be preached in the whole world.

Everything is the fruit of our thoughts

If the two blind men in Matthew 9 had thought Jesus could not heal them, they wouldn’t have been able to regain their sight. However, they believed that Jesus would heal them. As soon as Jesus said, “According to your faith will it be done to you,” they were able to see the things they had never seen before. All this was the result of their thoughts.

Jer 6:16–19 This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ I appointed watchmen over you and said, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But you said, ‘We will not listen.’ Therefore hear, O nations; observe, O witnesses, what will happen to them. Hear, O earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes [the fruit of their thoughts, KJV], because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.”

The fruit of their thoughts can also be described as the fruit of their faith. In this age, too, God says, “According to your faith will it be done to you,” and emphasizes that everything is the fruit of our thoughts. God has said that the gospel will be preached in Samaria and to the ends of the earth. The Almighty God, who can do everything, has repeatedly asked us to preach the gospel to the whole world and has shown us the way we must go.

Mt 28:18–20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you . . .”

Only when we go that way can we reach heaven, our eternal home. To do this work—the most important command of God, we need to become united with one another and work together.

In the army there are not only soldiers with rifles but also food service specialists and other clerks concerned with supply and administration. They should all be united together. This unity is also required for the gospel. When we are united as one, we can put all our strength together and produce the amazing results of the gospel. When we do something for God, it doesn’t matter where we work—whether in the kitchen or in the office. Wherever we are and whatever we do—whether we cook, perform administrative affairs or manage the church building, we are all participating in the gospel work. By faithfully carrying out our own duties in our given situations and helping one another, we are accomplishing the gospel work together, which pleases Father and Mother.

Everything is possible for the person who believes

We can preach the gospel to whoever we meet, wherever we are; workers preach in their workplaces, students in their schools, and housewives in their homes and neighborhoods. As we continue to do so, the day will surely come when all nations will hear the gospel of God and the goal of preaching to seven billion people will be accomplished.

Ge 18:14 “Is anything too hard for the LORD ? . . .”

Mk 9:23 “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.”

Is anything too hard for God? He can do everything. Since the Bible clearly teaches about God like that, it is wrong to doubt, ‘Is this really possible?’ Everything is the fruit of our thoughts and is in accordance with our faith. We must not judge based on our own abilities, but according to the standard of God’s word—the promise of God the Almighty that He will accomplish all things for us.

Lk 1:37 “For nothing is impossible with God.”

Nothing is impossible with God. When God said, “Let there be light,” it came into existence out of complete darkness. When God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water,” the water under the expanse was separated from the water above it. God fulfills every word that goes out from His mouth, and never fails to achieve His purpose (Ge 1:1–8; Isa 55:11).

God created the whole universe, numerous galaxies and stars, and hung the earth out in space at a distance of about 150 million kilometers away from the sun. He makes the moon orbit the earth, and also helps the water on the earth continuously move by generating the tides through the gravitational pull of the moon on the earth. Nothing is impossible with the Creator who has such wonderful counsel and power. We must believe this.

God the great Creator, who operates all things in the universe, has come to this earth as the Spirit and the Bride, and tells us, “You are my children. Don’t worry about anything. I will help you; I will defeat your enemies and take the shroud of darkness away. So don’t be afraid. Arise and shine the light.” Since God helps us, we don’t have to be afraid at all.

God’s constant support for His children

Remember the track and field day when you were an elementary school student. On track and field day, parents visit their children’s school, and when their children are running, they cheer them on, calling out their names. Then even a child who has always finished last in the races, runs with all his or her might.

To achieve the great task of preaching to seven billion people, God’s support is necessary. Mother also supports all Her children throughout the world. So, let us all have faith great enough to finish our race and be victorious so we can reach heaven safely.

Isa 41:9–13 “I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said . . . So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For I am the LORD , your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

Isa 43:1–5 . . . “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD , your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior . . . Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west.”

This is a message of support for us, which Father and Mother gave us through the prophet Isaiah 2,700 years ago. God says He will redeem His children, gather them, and help them. Since God says He will help us, there is no greater support than this.

The goal of preaching to seven billion people is being achieved through Mother’s support

I’ve heard that our brothers and sisters in Zion renewed their determination for the gospel as they heard the message of support from Mother, “I am only concerned about you, and you are everything in my life.” God has always cheered us on through the words of Isaiah 41 and 43, and sends us a personal message of support in this age. So, the joyful news is continuously pouring in from all over the world that our brothers and sisters are greatly encouraged by Mother’s support. When they heard the message of support from Mother, they reflected on their faith again: ‘Mother is always supporting me like that. Was Mother my only concern and everything in my life? What have I been concerned about? Haven’t I spent my life pursing all kinds of worldly desires?’

Job 22:21–30 “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you. Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored: If you remove wickedness far from your tent and assign your nuggets to the dust, your gold of Ophir to the rocks in the ravines, then the Almighty will be your gold, the choicest silver for you. Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty and will lift up your face to God. You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows. What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways.”

God’s faithful word always gives us great comfort and encouragement and cheers us up a lot. With God’s word engraved deep in our hearts, we should make God our treasure.

God is only concerned about us, but we are often concerned about worldly things. God says if we throw them away, we will be restored and what we decide on will be done. It is the same with the goal of preaching to seven billion people. If we are only concerned about God and make Him our everything, we can do all things; whatever we decide to do will be accomplished.

Remembering Mother’s message of support, let us also send our message of support to Mother, “We are only concerned about You, and You are everything in our lives!” I earnestly ask all of you, brothers and sisters in Zion, to have such beautiful faith and preach the glory of Father and Mother in Samaria and to the ends of the earth—to all people in the world, always being encouraged by Mother’s support.
